Privacy policy

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.

Note for release: this text is a draft for a website without cookies, without analytics tools and with locally hosted fonts. It must be reviewed before going live, and the sections highlighted in yellow must be replaced. The email provider whose mailbox sends the forms still has to be added under “Contact form”.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type, referrer) in server log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider; the transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

3. Contact form, waitlist and email

If you send us an inquiry via the contact form, a waitlist or by email, we process the information you provide (for the contact form: name, email address, topic and message; for a waitlist, additionally your company, phone number and the details about your business) solely to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). The data is deleted once your inquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Form data is transmitted in encrypted form to our hosting provider (see section 2) and from there delivered to our mailbox as an email via our email provider [name and registered office of the email provider]. It is not stored in a database.

4. Fonts and external services

The fonts used on this website are served locally from our server. No connections to servers of Google or other font providers are established when you visit the site.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or advertising networks.

5. Embedded website previews

In the “Our work” section, we show websites we have built as scaled-down live previews (iframe). As soon as you scroll to this section, your browser loads the content directly from www.la-corte.de and seven-sundays.vercel.app; in doing so, your IP address is transmitted to the respective hosting provider. We do not transmit any further data (referrer policy “no-referrer”). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting our work clearly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
